By accessing or using PathFinder U ("the Service"), operated by Austin Creative Labs LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PathFinder U provides a personalized college matching service. Users complete a 20-question assessment about their interests, academic profile, campus preferences, and learning style. Based on their responses, we generate personalized college match reports with university recommendations, application strategies, and planning resources.

The Service includes both free features (quiz and basic summary) and premium features (detailed reports, deep-dive university profiles, roadmaps, and more) available for purchase.

3. User Accounts

You may create an account to save and access your reports across devices. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Payments and Purchases

Premium reports and bulk access codes are available for purchase through our secure payment processor, Stripe, Inc. All prices are listed in US dollars. By making a purchase, you agree to pay the listed price and any applicable taxes. Austin Creative Labs LLC is the merchant of record for all transactions.

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on PathFinder U — including text, graphics, logos, quiz questions, report templates, and software — is the property of Austin Creative Labs LLC and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Your personalized report is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only.

You may share your report with family members, school counselors, and educational advisors. You may not resell, redistribute, or publish report content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

PathFinder U provides college matching recommendations based on your quiz responses and publicly available university data. Our recommendations are for informational and guidance purposes only. We do not guarantee admission to any university, scholarship awards, or specific academic or career outcomes.

University information (acceptance rates, tuition, programs, deadlines) is based on the most recent publicly available data and may change. We encourage users to verify all information directly with the universities they are considering.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AUSTIN CREATIVE LABS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers; (d) submit false or misleading information; (e) use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our prior written permission; or (f) impersonate any person or entity.

9. Counselor and School Accounts

School counselors and educational institutions may purchase bulk access codes for their students. Counselors are responsible for distributing codes only to eligible students and for complying with their institution's policies regarding student data and third-party services, including FERPA where applicable.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
